transmission

Wondering if anyone can tell me why my trans jumps out of first gear under a load. The tractor is a 40 A. The next question is are the parts available to fix the
problem. I put a clutch in it last year and didn't expect that to fix the gear problem ,and of course it didn't. It also has the usual sloppy shifter problem they
all seem to have and I wonder if this could be part of the problem. Any advice is greatly appreciated, except if the advice is sell the tractor. Thanks

Your problem could very well be within the top cover which includes the shift rails and forks. You need to pull the top cover and take a look. Parts are often on E Bay and I may even have some of them.
All the A's and B's are the same and a lot of the parts of a 'C' also the same. Your parts book will show the break down or go to 'caseih.com' for parts coverage.
good luck
