Lambert brakes on H

How much trouble to convert lambert brakes to IH disc or band brakes? Will original brake pedal shaft work? Thanks DTK

I did that very thing. The shaft is the same. Converting back to band brakes is the best thing I've done for that H.

Correct the band brakes are sure easier to keep working than glazed brake discs.

You need the drums, (two different kinds depending on age of tractor), then the cover with linkages and band. Note, new bands usually fit badly. Your shaft and pedals are correct to use.
I actually sent a pair of very slightly used bands back to Hy Capacity and told them they could have them for souveniers or what ever they wanted to do with them. I have no idea if they ever attempted to get the problems with them corrected.
