666 hydro starter issues

Well got the sediment bowl changed on the 666 hydro to stop the gas from leaking on the starter solenoid. Being the starter barely turns will I need to install a new solenoid? Or is it a starter issue from all the gas over time? I have a fan on it to dry things out now that no gas leaks on it. Is there a chance it will dry out?--adam

Fuel can "eat" insulation in the starter. Fuel (even old gummy fuel residue) can burn. I would pull the starter out and
have it checked. Cleaning it with electrical parts cleaner is a good plan (inside and out) before testing. Jim
