330 Utility

Picked up a diamond in the rough, and possible gold mine for me, a 330 Utility with a Wagner loader, quick attach 3 pt hitch, big internal wheel weights, and best of all a tight power steering box. PO had pulled the head and kinda put it back together, might be a runner, but since I also have a 350U Diesel with manual steering, T/A and PTO, and Fast Hitch, some transplanting may be in order. The 330 also does not have PTO or T/A, but is pretty complete and the loader seems in good shape. As I also have a pretty solid 340 with a Farmhand loader that's getting some water in the oil, this thing might come in very handy. First, let's see if it can be a runner...
So in trying to load the beast, it's dragging the left rear, locked up- then I remembered the early disc brake problems. Loosened the brake housing an 1/8", and she rolled just fine

So u got a 330, 350, and a 340,All with the swept back front end, I never figured that front end was made for a loader though. They all have the same disk brakes, right?

Aren't the 330, 350 and 340 the same except the 350 has the bigger "H" size engine block, while the 330 and 340 have the "C" size block. Also doesn't the 340 have the live hydraulic pump in the transmission?

The 330 has a single hydraulic valve for the hitch, but no T/A or PTO. 350 Diesel has T/A, PTO, And the single valve for the hitch. 340 has a PTO, but no hydraulics, hitch or T/A, loader runs off PTO pump. Kind of a pit bull, the PO put 18.4-28s on the back, and installed the front cable unit from an old D6 on the back, it had a bale spear but he didn't know what it was and hacked it off and added the cable unit- pretty much useless, as the way it's mounted, it pulls sideways
