Setting Valves on 560

I have recently had the head rebuilt on my IH 560 and would like to know the procedure for setting the valve clearance. I purchased the manual but it only tells the gap @ .027 I assume that is for both intake and exhaust. What is the easiest way to set the gap? Thanks.

Ya turn the engine over to TDC and see if #1 is on compression or # 6 and ya start and set six valves and turn it one complete turn and run the other six . If you have and I T manual it tells ya and don't ask me to night to give ya the valve ya set after four fingers of C/R

yes .027 intake and exhaust warm set when each cyl. is on top dead centre. following the firing order. 153624. watch the running mates of each cyl. and this tells you , you have tdc on the cyl. you are setting. 153
624 . running mate of #1 is #6 cyl. and so on. the valves on the running mate will rock back and forth as you rock the crank back and forth once you get the cyl. to be adjusted on tdc. this way there is no reason to pull glow plugs or spark plugs on an engine.

the other way is as follows...when #1 piston is at tdc , adjust valves 123 5 7 9.
when #6 piston is at tdc , adjust valves 4 6 8 101112
