Farmall Super C

Any opinions about spark plugs for the Super C, I am planning on using Autolite AL386 plugs and gapping them at .025" and if anyone has a recommended torque I would appreciate that number.
I would also like opinions on the type of oil to run in the engine and recommended weight, I live in Tulsa, OK so the temperature gets hot in summer and not to cold in the winter.
Any advice on weight of oil to run in air cleaner bowl.
I just ordered my service manual and owners manual today but forgot to order a parts manual.
I will be posting more questions in the near future since you guys seem to really know a lot about the Super C.

In have Autolights in mine and they have worked fine(the Champions lasted two hours before they fouled.) Oil is 10W30, same for the filter. If I was really going to put my SC in the field and work at ground tillage I might go to 10W40 for 90deg days.

40ft/lbs will work. 15-40 diesel grade oil is very well accepted in this group of owners. Same as the engine in the air
cleaner. Jim

Find the NGK spark plug that crosses the that auto lite plug and you will be happier for a whole lot longer. I have found in the last couple years the auto lite plugs are now pretty much junk but the NGK plugs hold up very well for a very long time
