Belly mower streaking on Super C

I am mowing fairly flat ground with my narrow front Super C. I have been thinking of moving the deck wheels to the outside or possibly just suspending the deck with the hydraulics and raising the wheels off the ground an inch or two.

Has anyone else done anything like this to get rid of the line you get from the deck wheels?

TIA,
Dan

On a flat surface cement if possible lower your mower down where the wheels are supporting the mower. Now you will need to lie down so you can rotate the blades to check that they are when pointed forward they front of the blade is around an inch lower at the front than the back mite need to adjust the bracket at the back of the dick to get the measurement. Are you using Woods lift blades. Are the wheels lined up straight and the bracket is not bent. Also rotating the blades do the tips line up with each other when they meet as its possible the deck is sprung. Just a few things to check as proper alignment of everything is important for a good finished mowing.

Don't know where you'd get them for that mower, but higher lift blades usually helps.

(quoted from post at 12:33:23 01/12/17) I have one too, if you don't have the deck wheels on the ground you will have scalping unless your lawn is very flat.
Belly mowers should not be supported by the deck wheels. The deck should be suspended and the wheels at least 1/2" off the ground. The wheels are there to minimize bottoming out.
