I am currently building a three point for my
Farmall super m. I am having trouble finding
any information on the valve that I have on
there. I'm wondering if the valve can be
used for lift and down pressure and just how
it need to be hooked up. Also if there is
any hoses I can eliminate just to clean it
up. I am new to this and I appreciate any
information you guys have. Thanks in
advanced

that valve you show picture of is for a cultivator so you can raise or lower each side of cult. seperatly I am not sure if it can be made to be two way pressure.

All you need to control your 3-point is one, two way valve, but as long as your doing it, you might as well put on a double valve, in case you want to run a remote cylinder too.

The other point is if you buy a double valve, the left handle, should have a float position built in to it,you might want that too, for the 3 point.

Valve on tractor is only pressure up and gravity or springs to retract a hydraulic cylinder. It can be removed if no use for you. Picture is blurry at what looks like a power steering supply point. If it's a priority valve you need it on pump side of a double acting spool valve with outlet port on priority other than one feeding power steering feeding valve. Unless you tee the line feeding a installed valve with pressure line extending on to regular hookup port on hydraulic unit the valve will need a internal relief of 1500 PSI or less. Little lower or around 1200 PSI would be better to lessen loading on pump and drive parts. If a tee is used the relief in hydraulic unit will still work. Lever on hydraulic unit needs locked back to pressure a installed valve plumbed as described. Little lever at bottom of lever turns to lock main lever back. Return line of double acting valve is limited to a tee in suction line to pump or fill opening unless reservoir is modified. If hooked to fill port they usually spit oil back out. Pressure line after priority valve can feed double acting valve and return line of valve go to hydraulic unit at unit pressure inlet but relief needed in valve or other. Hydraulic unit lever under fuel tank not locked back plumbed that way. Other two ports on a double acting control valve go to hydraulic cylinder.
