Super A question

After reading about the 300 Farmall oil pressure gauge in cold weather I started thinking about my Super A. The Hyd. unit has a gauge coming out of the side of unit and connects to the gauge on the Hyd lever bracket. The oil line has been gone for a long time. It has about an inch sticking out of unit and about an inch sticking out of gauge. Is there a way to replace just the pressure line? I really don't want to replace original gauge unless I have to. All thoughts are appreciated and welcome.

The gauge with a small tube on your tractor is a TEMPERATURE ague, not an oil pressure gauge. The "capillary tube" originally contained ether.

Some guys even repair those, apparently!

No repair to that tube as it is filled with a gas that expands with heat to give a reading. So you need
to replace the whole assy.

That's a hyd. temp. gauge. It's junk, new one is probably a hundred bucks or so.
