Local tractor salvage yard wants 100.00 each for 100 pound weights.For 66-86 series tractor.Is that a fair deal?Can buy them on craigslist right now for 60.00 each.But have too travel 200 miles.Darn,maybe I'll wait.

They usually always bring $100 each on farm Sales.Sometimes more. Good rule of thumb is dollar a pound.

That is pretty much the going price, but if you have time to shop around you will find them cheaper.

that's what they are going for around here, dollar a pound. sometimes if you buy a whole set you can get a little cheaper.

If not for the owner of the weights bidding them in, I would have gotten a dozen for $60 each at a consignment sale last week.

I think the market is starting to dry up on these too.
