It looks like hunk of junk overall, I was
just thinking it might be a different model
than an A. Seemed bigger than an A to
me...I'd never seen that red lever & yellow
tubular arm on an A.

What is the purpose of the large red lever?
 
That lever is heading off in the wrong direction for the mower. The quadrant is showing ahead of the tire and looks like a plow lever. It probably isn't even attached, just stuck there. There is more stuff on the back that I can't see well enough to identify.
 
Fairly straight tin, looks like fairly good rubber on the front and nearly new rubber on the back, rear wheel weights.......no so sure I would classify that junk just yet......a little TLC, new fluids, and definitely fix the mag/coil disaster, and she might be a good little tractor............Farmall A's are good little workers for their size.

Agreed. The hand lift linkages (looks like a couple of them) could be worth up to $150 if complete and in working order. They're getting hard to find. The weights are worth $100
