Got this IHC tractor but can't find the serial # on the left side of bell housing as all books say that is where it is located.
It has a IPTO the casting # on the inside housing is 379528-R1 was wondering what tractor this fits so I can get some parts for it. The PTO that is.
The tractor has a tag on the R. side with 2626-S-Y-FF but that don't tell me anything.
 
the tag on the right side that is your serial number and option codes, should be a model number on that tag also... like old said a picture is worth a thousand words for us to help
 
Check that tag more closely, could it be a 2656? That would make it an industrial model of the 656.
 
Sorry guy's I'm not computer savvy and can't post pic.
But the grill is near square like the newer 4-5-600 series.

I just need this so I can get a parts book on it.
 
This is your second thread on this tractor. Both of them have come down to the same point. Nobody can identify what model it is from the information you have posted and you have been asked for a picture. You can't post a picture.

Find somebody that can teach you how to post a picture. Most likely, you will want to post another picture some time.
 
Whatever tractor it is, the serial number is "2626-S-Y-FF."

It is not difficult to post a picture. You can post it in the tractors gallery fairly easily by clicking on the logo in the top left corner of this page, then scrolling down to the "Galleries" section on the left, selecting "Tractor Photos," then "Add Your Photo" and following the prompts from there.
