I purchased a 1948 H that was stuck. Somebody had rewired it for a key and solenoid on the starter. I removed all of those components and put all of the wiring back to the original six volt. Replaced the starter switch replaced the ignition switch and replaced the light switch. I also replaced any bad or frayed wires and gave them all good connections. I have plenty of spark to the plugs and the starting motor cranks over great. The problem lies in the fact that the tractor will only run with the starter switch depressed. We've gone over the wiring about a half-dozen times and can't figure out why we are losing power after the starter switch is depressed. Anyone ever run into this issue? If so any help would be great! Thanks!
