Oil is getting into the Points chamber

1953 Farmall Cub what would cause oil to collect in the points chamber. It ran fine when I parked it in August, went to start it this week end and it would not start. :(

Is there a grease fitting in the side of the distributor? If so, it may have been over-greased, pushing excess into the distributor section.

Could be a plugged "crankcase ventilator" tube.
Might be causing excessive pressure in the engine,
& forcing oil out at the dist.

The tube is on the left front of the block by the
fan.

Our cub had its tube plugged with an oily type of
sludge, & I cleaned it out with solvent & a wire.

Probably a bad seal on the governor shaft the turns the distributor and il letting crankcase oil in and going through the adapter and then getting past a worn o-ring on the distributor shaft.
