Hi all! Need some help! I have a Farmall M that just got out of the shop. Picking up a 3 point hitch tomorrow for an M, and made the call this morning that I am going to put it on this tractor, rather than my Super M.
The Super has a wide front, and a canopy, and is better suited to field work. This other M is a narrow front, and it is a little more maneuverable.
Anyways, back to the question. I have an aftermarket, "Mag Pump" that I am going to take off of a parts tractor and put on this M. My plan is to use the belly pump as a reservoir, that should work right?
On the Super, the lines go as follows:
From pump, pressure to the Valve (two way), over flow into the Belly Pump, and then out the bottom back to the pump. The previous owner drilled a hole in the bottom of the belly pump so that they could put the exit line on, to go to the pull side of the mag pump.
Does anyone see anything wrong with doing it this way? Is there a better way I should go about doing it? Thanks! Bryce
