ITS RED. SO IT SOMEWHAT QUALIFYS. Not as good on my Homelite as I am on my Farmalls. Recently it began to flood out. Gas all in the housing of the carb. Being last cleaning was, oh 25 years ago, figured a kit was due. Did not work. Still gas in housing surrounding carb and floods out sitting and when on its side. Anyone know a link or solution interested.

Kit, all gas lines to tank replaced.

The last couple of chainsaws I've had worked on we just bought a replacement carb from ebay; it was cheaper than the kit and seems to work well. You might try that if nothing else works out.
Maybe someone better informed will chime in.

Well, problem is likely in the fuel needle valve. I assume kit gave you a new fork, valve piston and diaphragm? (I have a 1966 XL12, and I'm assuming architecture is similar.) If you have a manual, verify spec setting of valve. If not, after being sure valve is moving up and down with the diaphragm, bend the fork a little so the needle is closer to the seat.

If you don't get it fixed and you get rid of it I would be interested, they are a damon good saw and harder to find everyday.

I have a good running 925 that I no longer have use for. Would sell. email with an offer. I'm in Minnesota
