twisted head bolts off, while removing head.

took block to welding shop. they welded a washer to the bolts; welded a nut to the washer; heated the area with a torch; put wrench on nut and it (bolt) came out.

(quoted from post at 12:01:14 10/30/16) have done that a few times and in most cases it works better than using easy outs.
Even when it doesn't work, it doesn't work better than easy outs don't work. It doesn't leave you worse off than when you started!

this was way too tough for easy outs that have to be drilled into the bolt. he had easy outs that looked like a socket, slipped over the bolt and
tapped them with a hammer. they did not hold.
