Super A vs. Cub keyhole width

I was hoping someone knows and can share the distance apart that the keyholes in the universal mounting frames are on the Super A and also the Cub. I'm working on a project and it would be useful to know.

Thanks
Mike

so what do you call a keyhole and where would that be located. i will be glad to measure just ned to know what and where

I am talking about where the big 7/8" bolt for the cultivators comes through the universal mounting frames.

Thanks
Mike

I still don't think we are talking about the same thing. In the following picture, the lower left piece has a hole where the toolbar mounting bolt comes through. There is one for each side of the cultivator. I think the Cub is 26" from one side to the other.

Thanks

I went out and did some measuring. Part of the problem is that the old universal mounting frames have some wear and may not hang where they did when new. Here is what I found:

One tractor has a set of Cub-144 cultivators mounted, UMFs don't seem bad on wear, measured 26-1/4.

Vegetable cultivators, I had set up for Cub using different UMFs, measured 24-1/2.

Two planters, Cub-171, Cub-172, I may have set one up, other probably as purchased, both measured about 25-1/2.

So I guess you need to pick your answer. I think your 26" conjecture is probably right. I don't have anything Super A to measure, but think I have previously found it wider.
