Farmall 560 stuck piston

I have a stuck piston (#5). It is on the very top of cylinder. I have been doing lots of reading on how to unstick. Nothing is working. I have been soaking it with AST penetration oil, Kroil Oil, Transmission fluid. Can't get it to budge. It is still in the tractor(motor). the piston is barely sticking about the block so I even tried hitting it down (with a board to cushion it) but no avail. There was only one other stuck piston in the tractor and it only took a little persuading to come out. very frustrated. Any suggestions beside dynamite? Tim

Have you disconnected the rod and turned the crank to the bottom of the stroke. If not you are trying to drive the piston and rod through the crank like its setting on an unmovable chunk of metal. With the rod unhooked and the crank out of the way and the back wheels blocked and the brakes set. now carefully position a jack and a piece of hard wood against the bottom of the piston and raise the front of the tractor off the ground an inch or so and let it set. It may push the piston out or the sleeve and piston together. If that doesn't work make a cradle suspended from the tractor and set the jack on it and use as a press. If that fails take a drill and drill several holes in the piston then use a sharp chisel to crack the piston and remove a pie shaped piece. By then the rest of the piston should be loose. If its stuck that bad it will need a sleeve and piston if not a complete set any way.
