PTO

I have an 856, the pto makes alot of noise when I engage the shredder (15 ft batwing). once it is on it works fine, but sometimes it takes a few seconds to engage. The filter and oil have been changed about about a month ago. Made no difference. Is my PTO pump going bad? or is it possibly something else? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

hard to diagnose noises from a forum. does it sound more mechanical? I'm thinking a bearing went out or worn shaft or something along those lines. A weak pump should lead to reduced performance to my way of thinking.

Don't know much about 856 PTO systems. just throwing out ideas.

Try to make a video. Won't help much but it will be better.
