Im starting to rebuild a 10-20 and Im thinking about using a F 30 manifold and carb to get more hp.Can I hear and opinions

You will be changing your 10-20 to a W-30 vertical exhaust.

if you don't want to cut a hole in your original 10-20 hood you can use a W-30 hood for it

that setup should get you around 7 to 8 hp right off the bat

I thought about doing that over 50 years ago. I had a 10-20 and it would pull a 2 bottom plow and I had a F30 and it pulled a 3 bottom plow. I knew the motors were the same except for the manifold and carb. The F and W 30's had a water pump and I think ran 200 rpms faster. Let us know how you make out. I still have the 20-20.
