Cab Question

I have a cab on my farmall 706. Not sure what brand it is, bit I am thinking hiniker. It has one window on the right side that swings out. It just swings out. Is there a latch that holds it in and keeps it locked? Today there is nothing and it bangs and rattles.

If it's a hiniker cab it will have an identical window on the left side. The latching system is the same for all the windows.

Each window should have two braces. Side window braces are top and bottom. To latch the window you pull it closed and flip the now-folded brace over to the opposite side from where it ends up when you close the window.

I suspect you probably don't have a hiniker cab. If it only has a window on the right side it is probably what they call an "ice cream box" cab.

Barnyard - thanks. It is missing the left side window. So what you describe is correct as it those fold in braces. I now understand how it is
designed to work. Also do you know where I can get a window for the left side? The windshield is in it, but am missing the back window.
Thanks

Sounds a lot like a Sherburn cab.

We had one on the 806, & that is why I have
hearing loss now. Absolutely worthless
except in winter.
