Super m brake clearance

I've read some of the other post about measuring the stack of disc and such to verify clearance. I have brakes and they work pretty well but they seem to be outside the clearance limit in another post of 0.060. My clearance is more like 0.140. Way outside the range but I have brakes. I had removed them for the seals and now curious what to do.

Few questions
what is the thickness of new disk? That might get me back to the required range. Mine are about 0.45.

what type grease/ graphite should be put on the balls and moving parts?

since mine work what does it hurt to continue using as is.

That was me. If I had a machine shop that was friendly I would machine the housings. .060 and use the current disks. I would not even touch the friction surfaces because they work. New disks aren't much thicker (though I have none to measure) maybe a service manager at a dealer would be kind enough to put a caliper on one. Dry lubricant like Tri Flow or PTFE powder dry spray is good. Grease makes a mess and can contaminate the friction surfaces. The main reason for small clearance is to keep the geometry of the small pull linkage in a position that gives good mechanical advantage to the pull rod going to the pedal. Jim
