10' chisel plow bounces more than it use to . Pulling it w/ 986, would new chief points help? They are twisted style. 551 Melroe chisel plow. If I
run it deeper and go slower it helps, I am going low 3rd ta. Any advice would be appreciated . Thanks DTK

Lowering the hitch point to allow the points to suck more might help. Lowering the front of the frame. A second item is sharpness. The chisels can be dull on the point a d litterally push up and out. Jim

Hey thanks Jim. I'll turn my points. They are new on other side,I think The shanks are too close to to the points on the worn side of the point s hope that helps

Is it 3-point or is it "drawn" with it's own wheels?

If it has it's own wheels/tires, overinflating them will reduce bounce.
