what size are the four bolts that connect frame to front bolster..are they 12 or 916.,,,,,,,.had to drill out,,,,,12 tap cut in to hole but
was worried is might be cutting into old bolt...cant see anymore and was getting dark....thanks in advance....dewy

where are you finding this info...there are 7 holes on side of bolster....4 for the frame,,,,,5th hole is in frame channel for
implements...the other 2 holes are in front of bolster and they are 1/2 in..they never had anything in them...the 5th hole is
5/8...THOLMER are u positive they are 9/16........any second opinions out there....thanks yall

What size wrench did you use to remove the bolts? If 15/16" then the bolts were 5/8". If you used a 3/4" wrench, then the bolts were 1/2".

9/16" is an oddball size. I have never seen one on a tractor.

You can also look it up in the CaseIH online parts books.

It looks like the book calls for 5/8"-11 x 2" long bolts.

I found the information on this site dated April 15th 2012. The information in the article says 300 and 350 were 9/16 NC. I don't have my 350 here to verify that though.

1/2 coarse thread is the original size for the 4 bolts attaching frame rail to front bolster, 1-3/8 long but 1-1/2 will work if the treads are clean. IH did use 9/16 bolts for attaching the PTO operating handle to planetary PTO units and a few other things.

thanks yall again...got them all in... they seem to be 1/2 in.....now i got to do the other side..........thanks dewy
