Found this for sale about 90 miles
away (it's in Ga) with cultivators
$500. Guy says he doesn't know last
time it ran. Says it's a H. Same
price on rusty one. Any thoughts on
this? Thanks

That might be a tad bit on the high side for one that does not run at this time. The cultivators would up what it is worth by a little bit. I have 4 Hs on the place and none cost me over $250 in non-running condition

I am what I would call a non color blind tractor guy as in I have pretty much one of all the most common brands of tractor and I work on any of them

That's where we are headed. Our last 2 kids at home (out of 6) are wanting a case DI. And a farmall cub.

Do not know where your at but I have a Case VAI with loader I would sell. Also have 4 1940 Hs I would sell plus a couple others

I'm in central alabama. But we love a road trip. Where are you? One boy really wants an offset tractor. Would love a rare ford but.....he would take a cub or..... you can email if you want.

I'm in Missouri the Lake of the Ozarks area. I was born in AL Gadsten home of the AC-G

Looks like your showing us two different tractors. So assuming your talking about the red one (as opposed to the rust one) I say $500 is fair and if its got full cultivators on it that's a steal to me.
I've seen just the cultivators for sale for anywhere from $250 up to over $500 just by themselves.
If that tractor was near me and if I could afford it right now (which I cant), I would buy it in a heart beat for at least the cultivators and a parts H, at a minimum.
Since he's asking $500 you could probably offer $400 on the spot.
But I'm in the north east so our regions are different.

Speaking of Gadsden...the G round up is coming up. I ain't got a G but we taking what we have. Supposedly a great show

Both tractors appear to be solid and straight. The cultivator by itself is worth maybe $400. I'd pay the asking price on the nice one with the cultivators, and offer $300 for the other one.

Well I would not know. I have not been back to Gadsten since some time in 1956. I was born there but did not even live there till I was 1 so know very little about it
