B275 Lift arm link

I was disking up a small section when the vertical link for the lift arm opposite the gearbox to angle the lift let go. Looks like the rod and the clevis are both cast and the thread on the rod have enough wear and the clevis has enough wear that it can just slip through. I stuck it in the drill press and pinned it in place. I called the sort of local tractor wrecker and he sent me one off a 414 but it's an inch shorter than the old one and the adjusting box on the other side all the way retracted is still too short. Everyone is telling me they should be the same. What I think is correct measure 20" between mounting hole centres and gets longer from there.

The replacement is almost all the way extended at 19" and has a coarser thread than the original one but it's a little loose too only holding by 1 or 2 turns at that length.

Hi Glenn,
I thought they would have been the same but looking at caseih parts the B-275 3pt in the caseih parts is same as B-250.
B-275 were not common in our area, it was either B-250s or B-414s. My Dad was going to buy a B-275 in 1961 but then Dealer told
him the B-414D was coming to Canada in early 1962. He decided to wait for B-414D to replace our 300U.

Guess I should replace the gearbox on the other side to make it even...

I have two B275s and my links broke long ago. There are little adjustable links used on Fords that are cheap and work great. I think that last one cost me less then
$20. Looks like an adjustable top-link, just smaller. Perfect fit.

Boy that would be great shippie is as much as the part. . I'd sure like to just go pick it up somewhere. Do you have a photo or link to what the thing looks like? Clevis on both ends?
