884 compression leak

My 884 has a compression leak into the cooling system--blows bubbles in radiator. I've had the head re-worked, planed and tested for cracks. Put a new head gasket on it, but it continues to blow coolant out of radiator cap after a short time of full power and load work. Is there a way to diagnose, with common equipment, where the fault is? What would be the next likely location of the leak? Cylinder liner perforation? Something else? How best to diagnose this without special testing equipment?

If it has no coolant conditioner in it, and if it has had strong field use, the coolant can cavitate causing pitting and perforation of the liner. It is common and preventable with conditioner. Jim

Thanks, Jim,
It's looking like an engine overhaul is the only solution to the problem. What kind of coolant conditioner do you recommend?

IH sells it as does Ford parts counters. Many brands out there, Ford's is solid, as is Ih and JD. There are coolant filters that have cavitation suppression additive that changes when the filter is changed. Jim
