Sediment bowl leaking

About a month ago, I ordered a sediment bowl for my 300 Farmall from this site. It worked fine for a while, but now its leaking from the shutoff valve. I've tried tightening the brass nuts up but its still slowly dripping. Any advice? I remember reading about someone who fixed theirs, but I can't find it now.
I appreciate any help,

Mac

The newer, aftermarket sediment bowl assemblies need for that valve to be either tightly closed, or fully opened. Anywhere in between will result in dripping.

I bought a new one for my WD 45 Allis and it didn't leak at the shut off packing but would not shut fuel off from tank to sediment bowl.

Mine will shut off completely, but it leaks when shut off. I wonder if you could replace the packing? I have an old shutoff from the tractor that the previous owner stripped the tank threads out of. I might drain the tank and try to replace it with the old one and see what happens? It won't cost anything, anyway.

They use to make a packing string that would work as a packing but I don't know if you can still get it. Somebody else on here might know.

Well, I think I fixed it. I dug out some o rings and found one that fit the stem tightly. Then put every thing back together with some gasoila. Gonna let it cure all night and I guess we'll see what happens. I appreciate all your advice.
Thanks, Mac
