Farmall 200 belt drive

I am rebuilding a Farmall 200 PTO and belt drive assembly. The PTO housing has a crack and I have a replacement. Am I correct in assuming the belt drive and PTO housing are separated by loosening 3 bolts inside after removing what looks like a large knockout on the side of the belt drive housing? If this is correct, where can I get the replacement knockout? Thanks in advance for any help.

Just remove the bolts holding belt pulley assy you dont need to remove the welsh plugs unless you are going to replace bearings ect.

I'm replacing the bearing and seal in the belt drive along with everything including the housing for the rear facing PTO. (Welsh plug.... that's what it's called. Couldn't think of that for nothing.) Don't think I can get it out and it be reusable. Any suggestions.

What do you use the pulley for?? Is it noisy when you turn it on under power cause if you arent using it under power i would just replace the seal and leave it alone. Is the bushing still there that the seal goes over many got lost over the yrs then the pulley cant stop the leak.

The pulley bearing is shot, but that isn't the main issue. The main PTO housing is cracked where the bearing is pressed in and needs to be replaced. I have the replacement PTO housing, and want to put the original belt housing on it. Looking from inside the belt housing I can see the end of bolts that appear to hold the two cases together from the belt housing side. Those are the bolts I was wondering if I need to remove by going in from the belt housing side.

Finally got the housings separated. Thanks for your help. Have everything soaking in a parts washer. Should get it back together soon.[/list]
