IH 100 trailer mower help

if I am going to purchase a 7 ft IH trailer mower, can I replace the 7 ft bar with a 9 foot bar? Not familiar with ih heads and how they mount to the bar. I am very familiar with new Hollands heards but not IH. Or, can you even remove the bar from the head cast. Also what is the diff between the 100 trailer mower and the 1100 trailer mower? Just age and newness? Thanks. All help is appreciated--

The 1100 is a newer mower. What changes they made I cannot tell you. I have four balanced head mowers here but I never changed a bar on one. I don't see why it could not be done. Things happen to bars and the head is an expensive part...so I am thinking you can replace the bar.
