i found the problem with my mag

after reading all of your responses and a you tube video on rebuilding a magneto, i found the problem: the wire from the points to the condenser i think was grounding out. its an original IH part. it took the mag off, cleaned it up, then started to disassemble. i found the wire was grounding. i added a little black tape then reassembled. put the mag back on found i was 180deg out, to took the mag off and realigned it. reassembled everything, and Molly started right up.

good to hear, as that was my first thought when u said you had no spark after replacing points.
i wish we had more feed back on fixes.
