Farmall 400 Block

I have a Farmall 400 I bought that has a C-264 block without a dipstick. It is an early one. Did the first ones have the same block as the Super M or is it a Super M block?

C-264 production gas block with cast number 356980R1 was used in Super series and early 400. Dipstick was added at block serial number 146138 having a casting number of 356980R2. 356980R2 was used for C-281 engines also. C-264 engines started at serial number 501 and ended with the last 264 engine. C-281 engines started at 501.
