Farmall 230 Value

I have been asked by my neighbor to sell a Farmall 230 for her so I am planning on taking some photos and listing it on the local Craigs List. I want to make sure I get a fair price for her but don't know what to ask. I have looked for similar tractors for sale on this site but have not found a comparable tractor so I am asking for pricing advice. The tractor was purchased new by the neighbor. It has good tires all around, it has a fast hitch, all original from what I can tell. 6 volt system, lights all work. Tin is very nice as it the paint. Starts amazingly quick and runs beautifully. She has a cultivator set for the tractor but I have not seen it so I cant describe its condition. Given the condition of the tractor I assume is it is in very good condition. If it makes a difference, the tractor is in MN. Should I sell the cultivator with the tractor or separate? Any advice on a price range would be appreciated. Thank you!

If as described, I would start at 4000. The tractor is a mostly cosmetic advancement of a Super C. They are way handy and though they don't have a live PTO, they are powerful enough to do real work. It is always possible to lower the price. Jim

MN is a big state the 230 is wanted by some as not that many were made the cult will fit other models so its no big deal and people are looking for them Craigs list in your area probably isnt going to get much attention. Take a good color pic and post on photo adds this site. Look at some adds that will give you a good idea how to take a good pic valu anywhere from 1000-2000 depending on location

A friend just sold his restored 230. Had 3 fast hitch implements with it. $5,000 for all 4 pieces
