delco remy starter

I am working on a 1927 or older IH truck, S 24 or similar. The delco remy starter has a broken Bendix spring, my question is there a similarity in delco remy Bendix springs, on other IH starters that I might have a chance of finding something similar enough to work. Thanks Darald
 
Not sure, But all Letter series had the flat wound springs, They are all the same except diesel are wound the other way. It is worth a look. Jim.
