I am unable to locate the square head 5/8-18 x 2.25" long bolts for the rear wheels on my 450. I can't find any 5/8-18 square head bolts. Are they available?

There are any number of scrap yards with Farmall tractors, and the ones I know of all have parts and pieces and bolts. You might check nearby you, get a wire brush and be back in bidness.

For a user tractor I use 5/8 bolts like used for steel erection. Grade 5 and have a 1-1/16 hex head and coarse threads if I remember correct. Bigger head will not turn in the pocket unless rusted bad. Wheel castings don't turn out the same from pocket to pocket on wheels. Usually 2 or 3 need the pockets castings smoothed out or opened up a little for the bolt heads to fit good.
Fellow by the name of Norman Jackson sells square head bolts or used to.

Check with Pilot Knob Restorations and I would call Fastenal even if, web site doesn't show right size.

Unless you are trying to satisfy the correct police, hex head bolts will work just fine.
