350 motor with too much oil in cylinders

Looking for some help on where to go next. I'm new to owning my 350U and ran into an issues where it wouldn't start. After testing the spark, I learned that my points were bad. In the process of that (not knowing the points send the signal to the coil for spark) I turned the motor over so many times trying different things that it seems that it is so flooded that I have oil shooting out of the top of the air cleaner. I took the tube from the air cleaner that runs to the carb off, drained that out, but still am running into the same problem. I took all the plugs out and turned the motor over trying to help dry things out as well. Looking for other suggestions on curing the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

would need more info than that.
was it running before?
was it bought none running?
appears you have serious engine problems if its blowing out the intake.
pull valve cover and check the valve lash. .017
then check the compression.
the intake should be sucking, not blowing.

Itgot the plug wires out of position, and sparked on an intake stroke. this spins the tractor engine backwards, and pumps air into the air cleaner. It is a oil bath cleaner and the effect of the above, blows that oil out of the top. Clean it up, put engine oil in the cleaner cup to the line, and organize the plug wires correctly. Get a manual to be sure of your actions. Jim

so your not going to tell us what was wrong? sure nice to know. nobody ever gets back with the final outcome hardly.
