Hi all I have a farmall A that will not start it cranks over fine has spark. If I pull start it runs fine no issue,

If it is mag equipped it could be the impulse coupling. Does it Click/snap loudly while cranking. If it does not it won't start.
If distributor ignition, it could be low battery voltage (even though it cranks) Jim

Does help us help you if you fill in a few blanks.
Mag or distributor?? 6 or 12 volts?? That said check these things and get back to us

#1 you say it has spark but is it a good blue/white that will jump a 1/3 inch gap or more??

#2 pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas tha twill fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes.

#3 if it is a distributor ignition the starter could be getting bad and pulling to many amps and robbing the spark or a low battery which will also cause a weak spark

If it is none of the things already mentioned, how is the compression? If it is low, spinning it faster can help with starting.

We were using a super A for haying and you had to park on a hill so you could get it started. I checked the points and what I saw was terrible. No wonder it wouldn't start with starter but if you rolled it the thing would fire right off. After cleaning and adjusting the points it started with the starter.
