I already know the answer, but I am hoping you can tell me I'm wrong.
Had dieseltech rebuild the pump for my 886. Put it on, started connecting lines and getting ready to set timing when I realized I didn't put a gasket between the pump and housing. I'm betting it needs one, huh?
Yup, that's what I figured. And you KNOW the dealership will have to order one. And it will be $976. I'm so mad I didn't think to order one while the pump was gone. I'd make a thin cork one but I don't have a gasket to trace. Grrrrr.
Anyone have a number I could use to have Napa get one?
