Anybody watched these videos? Appears to work for Steiner. I caught a video of her last week on how to adjust the clutch on my Cub. Today I got a video from Steiner TV with her explaining how to install the brake assist I just bought on my M. She seems pretty knowledgeable but she sure wasn't able to tell me how to get the 73 year old bolt out of the platform.Nice to see some mechanically inclined women in this hobby.

Rachael is the daughter of an auctioneer just a few miles to the north of me. She is herself now an auctioneer also. I am not aware she works for Steiner but they have sponsored a lot of her videos. Hard working young lady with a lot of ambition being helped along (as it always is, BTDT) by an interested father. I only wish most of my repairs went as easily as she makes them look. You can find her all over YouTube.

Her Dad, Dan, is also a Tractor Jockey and a mechanic- I've been to his shop, and actually bought my 656 from him. They also have tractor memorabilia, her mom Makes quilts and such and travels to the tractor shows and sells online, too. Seem like good folks. -Andy

Hi there! Glad you are enjoying the videos. Steiner contracts with Rachel for the videos. We have a videographer on staff who handles the filming and editing and posting of the videos to the TV site and to YouTube. Our technical team and marketing team helps to come up with video ideas. Rachel's father, Dan, works full time in our technical department, answering customer questions about installations or helping find the right parts along with 3 other full time technical guys. Rachel, Dan and the whole family really are involved in the videos and they also work together to write the blogs on the blog site. Feel free to send us in your video suggestions! We try to post a new one at least every 2 weeks. We also have more videos on John Deere coming soon from Tyler.

A tractor jockey is someone who "flips" tractors for profit, not a salesman or a dealer.

It's mainly a derogatory term because many of them are crooked as the day is long. They'll pay scrap price for a derelict, give it a "Krylon restoration" (i.e. a bad paint job), and try to sell it as a field ready tractor for a field ready tractor price.
