450...where did the fuse cap go??

We're gonna put the head back on this week and I was looking at Charlene and noticed the fuse and cap is missing from the dash. Did it vibrate off while roading it an hour or did the neighbor kids do it? I guess the better question is where can I get another cap? Really don't wanna buy the whole fuse assembly. Anyone have an idea? Thanks

I replaced the whole assembly on my 560 as it was gone. Checked around and couldn't find that type fuse setup except at boat supply place. Apparently they are used on some boats. I was able to find the whole unit there, might be able to get just a cap.

The cap is push/turn against a spring loaded fuse. NAPA probably has the whole thing. Not expensive and just use the cap. Jim

NAPA has them and they are listed under fuse holder and they do sell the cap if it would match yours.

Oldfarmal,You can look it up on the case ih website.I just put one in a 674,and it is the same.So if you can't find it under your tractor, another would be the same.Mark

I wish we still had Radio Shack around here.
Where are you located, with still some Radio
Shacks? I may have to make a road trip!
Seriously, I would like to know, because
nobody handles the obscure, hard to find
stuff that they do. Thanks, Hugh

Knob 356445R91 around 5 or 6 bucks, original part number for fuse holder assembly 365515R91 but changed to a new number and $27 plus and may be just like the one sold on this site for under 7 bucks.

Barnyard, thanks for the tip. There happens to be a Radio Shack in town, a quick trip there, and threes dollars later I'm the proud owner of a fuse assembly. Saved me time and greenbacks...again, many thanks.
