disk brakes and where to get some

I did a search here but did not find what I was looking for. There was a post sometime recently and it listed a supplier who had brakes made with asbestos and how they worked so much better. I thought I bookmarked the location, but if I did, I cannot find the supplier who sold them. Could someone give me the supplier where these brakes could be purchased?

I put a set of brake disks from Tribco on my super H about 2 years ago. Still stopping the tractor like it should. I believe they are made with Kevlar. They are on the expensive side but well worth the money. tribco.com/PartsList.php?Make=International%20Harvester/Dresser. Make sure they are adjusted correctly for wear clearance. Check the balls, springs and the bolt your expander arms work on (mine were wore half way thru). You could be into $ 200.00 per side.

I don't know about asbestos, it has been banned. Mike Bunck of Steel Wheel Ranch sold complete disks to me for $54, also brake boots for $10. The best place you can use--785-548-7437.

My supplier has disc for Super C,H,& M for around $18.00,balls $2.65 & rod seals $3.70. I think BAND brakes are very expensive at $70-80 each. I do have some in stock.
