Farmall Super A gas tank decal

I have a 1951 Farmall Super A that I am restoring. I have Guy's book that shows that the brake decal is supposed to go ~3" above the gas tank seam (page 132). But when I look at my faded gas tank, there is an outline of a decal that has the same shape and dimensions of the brake decal but it is located ~8" above the gas tank seam. In addition, there is a very faded decal below the brake decal that appears to be a round circle, about 3" in diameter, with a rectangular banner going horizontally across the middle (centered )of the circle that is about 1" x 4" and I can barely make out the word "Farmall" in the rectangular shape. Any ideas as to what that particular decal would be? Maybe some kind of dealer applied decal? After painting, I plan on installing my new Brake decal where the old one was located (8" above seam) rather than ~3" above seam like in Guy's book - would I be wrong in doing so?

My opinion, I don't think us IHC guys are into 'wrong' and 'right' and criticizing each other. Some other colors seem to be bad about that.

You can do what you want. I would put it where Guy has it because he looked all this up in his studies. As to mine, I didn't look close enough and put two labels as on the International Super A, instead of the Farmall -- they are going to stay there. I didn't know I did that until I looked at p 132 tonight, 4 years or so too late. Mine is a 1953 SA and showed no circle, I suppose someone just wanted to put it there. I have no contact with the correct police, and if I did I would ignore them.
