Muffler question

I have a 300 Farmall. I would like to buy one of Stiener's mufflers, but should I get the small outlet or large outlet muffler? I want a really good quite one. The cheap one that came on the tractor bellows so loud if I did not wear ear plugs I would be deaf by now. Which one would everyone recommend, the 1 1/2 or the 2 3/8 with a 6 or 5 1/2 diameter?

I have 3 of those that Ken got made and there are no baffles. At least none of the letter series have them. I won't comment on 460 up. Mine are Super A, Super H and Super M. The one on the H used in the 50's from IH had no baffle, either. The sound of the H in the 50's and Kens are identical.

If you want a quite muffler get one with a baffle on it. My 450 has baffle in it and is the quietest of all my tractors and its a old muffler and if I have to replace it it will be one like it. Second picture is a better picture of it and I have since ceramic coated it. Stiener does offer a muffler with baffle in it.
