4 and 5 bottom fast hitch plows

I have a 412 4-14 fast hitch plow. A friend of mine has run across what I think is a 411(?) plow. And what he describes as a 512(?) or maybe a 550(?) plow. I am wondering what other model plows could be 5 bottoms. I have seen a 411 before but never a 5 bottom fast hitch. He says they are for sale cheap as the guy was planning to scrap them. Assuming that they need most of the wear parts replaced what would be a fair offer? I have seen 311 plows in rough shape bring anywhere from $35 to $300. I have only ever seen one 312 and I bought it for $200. I paid $300 for my 412. I like the semi mounts better than the full mount. Also do any of you think that there is a market for not just useable plows but actually restored fast hitch plows? Or for that matter fast hitch equipment in general? I appreciate, as always, all opinions and thoughts.

I have got a 3x16 fast hitch plow, there nice to look at, and do a good job, but very limited to what kind of tractor can pull it,had a 3x14 but their to narrow to work very good, behind a SMTA or a 450 tractor,i paid about 325 for each of them, got my money out of the 3x14. So if you asking are they going to be valuable some day, i dont think so, another part of our history. But all parts interchange with the No.&0 and 70, including tail wheel, and depth wheel mounting.

I have seen several 512 IH fast hitch plows but they aren't nearly as plentiful as 412's...I myself have two 412's..

Antique tractor plow days don't seem to be getting any less popular, and replacement wear parts for older plows are hard to come by.

Any opportunity to save a plow with modern bottoms on it is a good opportunity. Quite frankly you should be able to get $100 each for a Super Chief frog with a good moldboard on it, because they will bolt right on to the older plows, and give them new life with relatively inexpensive, widely available replacement parts.

Fast hitch prongs seem to bring a pretty penny as well.

That's about the only way you'll make money though, unless you have a source of wear parts at wholesale prices. You'll never get your money back replacing the wear parts at retail prices and selling refurbished plows unless you get the plows for free.

Here is my 512, bottoms 4&5 have the long moldboard. I don't have a 806/856 with FH so this will just sit in the shed. I normally use a 311, 312 or 412 for plow says as well as some pull plows we have.
