Do u press the big pto gear off or use a three prong puller decided to ask before i try to press it off thanks

If you are trying to get the pto shaft out of the housing, do not try to press the shaft out. You need to get the gear off first. The gear/shaft has a woodruff key that will catch on the bearing/ housing and prevent pressing the shaft out. If you try to press the shaft out you may break something.
