how to remove drawbar studs on farmall final drive

Anyone have suggestions on how to remove the drawbar studs (part #69499d on a super a) from the final drive on a farmall? I want to mount a woods belly mower and I need to remove the all-thread studs. All
the nuts are loose and can be removed but I am having trouble figuring out how to remove the all-thread stud bolt out of the final drive housing. See attached phote.

Use a double nut. get em real tight, turn out with the inner nut. Or you can weld a nut to the stud if you dont want to keep it.

Thanks for the suggestions as I am looking for anything that will work. I will try the double nut first but it looks like I will need to buy thinner nuts than the large one that came with the tractor as there is not enough thread for two larger ones. I don't really care about saving the studs so if the double nut doesn't work, I guess I will try to weld a nut on to see if that helps break it free. Would you recommend using a torch to heat the final drive housing before cranking down on the nuts?

There is a reason those are there because original used a capscrew and not what yu have there i would heat the stud and let it cool to see if that breaks it loose. The threads mite be screwed up and they would hae used someting to keep the stud tight but heat should get them loose. Welding a not is a great idea as the heat should help break them loose

Doesent the rear hole go thru the cast and i do believe the front has been enlarged due to threads probaly are shot. The drawbar then was drilled out larger. Check your drawbar holes

Heat the stud, not the casting. The casting is too large to get hot before the stud also gets hot, not to mention the seals, bearings and gear lube.

Like gene says, welding the nut on will heat the stud too. It's a pretty neat trick for getting broken off bolts out. The heat from welding swells the stud, which stretches the hole and breaks the rust. After it cools it should turn right out. Works great on cast steel with steel studs, and works best if you can get the stud red hot.

The Super A normally had the studs in those holes, # 1 in the link below:

The studs take a conical nut shaped like the capscrews (#3.) Best way to remove the studs is double-nut them as mentioned below and they should turn right out.

As I posted earlier double-nut them. There should be enough meat there to put both of your existing nuts on there . You may want a wrench on each nut to be sure the outside one doesn't turn. Usually with enough >>oomph<< they will turn right out. I put a fast hitch on my tractor and the studs looked like Fowler McCormick himself put them in. They came right out. Save the studs and nuts because they are not cheap from caseIH and you might need to take the mower off one day!

Status update. After applying a little heat, used two nuts and the studs came out rather easily from the final drive.
