Just passing on an idea for grill screen clips. I restored a Farmall C and Super A recently and I had to cut the grill screen away from the screen clips that were welded to the grill. After final painting of the grill and screen, I reattached the screen using home made clips from copper pipe. I took a 1/2" diameter copper pipe and using a hacksaw, cut 7 pieces about 1/2" in length. I then cut the 7 pieces in half giving me 14 pieces (half moon shape). Then using a pair of channel locks, I squeezed the copper clips onto the screen attaching it to the support bars. I placed the copper clips near to where the original welded clips were. The copper clips are very malleable and securely hold the grill in place. And if I need to remove the screen in the future, I don't have to cut the screen to remove the clips.
