Farmall M Rear Wheel Bolts

I need a set of new bolts and nuts for the rim to hub union. They are kind of special in that they have thin inner nuts and a long thread on the square head bolts. Is there a source for these? Or do I need to make up my own. Mine a loose and so rusted I can't do anything with them.

Thanks in advance for any ideas

The thin nuts are called "jam nuts". Hex head bolts and nuts will work just fine, but your local hardware or farm supply store will not have the correct bolts. Pretty much ANY farm implement dealer WILL have what you need.

I've gone through the same ordeal myself. If I remember right, the hardware store bolts are not threaded far enough down the shank.

I used Grade 8 hex-headed bolts (Would hate to have one break!) and turned the threads down further.
