Our 300 which we have been using for raking hay started to make a loud noise inside the housing behind the motor. It does it with or without the clutch being engaged. The TA handle can be back or forward no difference. Its kind of a growling noise to best describe it. Could it be a input shaft bearing? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Could be the IPTO drive splines in the flywheel getting stripped. I am told that that kind of noise was the cause of my 300 getting parked for 5 years, and when I tore it down after I bought it that is what I found.
